Import and export Firefox passwords.
Password Exporter is a plug-in for
Mozilla Firefox that allows to
import and export our passwords stored in the Firefox
password manager.
Thanks to this we will be able to take them with us wherever we go to use them on with a web browser that also has the plug-in installed.
Password Exporter exports and prints that passwords using the
XML or CSV format.
For greater
security, we can encypher the passwords by means of a
master password to avoid that they fall into unwanted hands.
To use
Password Exporter we have two options: to go to Tools > Security or look for the plug-in in the complement manager and hit the Options button.
In both cases we can check the
list of stored passwords and establish
exceptions to avoid that they are exported/imported when we don't want the to do this.
An ideal complement with whiche we can manager our Internet passwords wherever we are.
Requirements: It works with Firefox 3.0 through to 9.
Note: This complement is also compatible with Mozilla Thunderbird 3.0 and 3.1.
